Breathing
Somewhere,
A day like a billion others
Was closing with a sunny afternoon.
Something scratched a white line
Down the sky
In the space of six short breaths.
Where it touched the horizon,
A billion suns suddenly rose
And, rudely,
Without ceremony,
Changed the era.

Hey - look what I found!
May I have your permission to link this from my blog?
I've read all the posts here and thoroughly enjoyed them.
Although, I must say that this is my favorite. :)
Please do, with my pleasure :)
